Reception Admissions

Children are admitted to Reception in the September following their fourth birthday.

Applications for Reception places are managed through the London Borough of Bexley admissions process. Families should complete the Common Application Form (CAF) required by the Local Authority application and the supplementary forms required by the school.

Certificate of Catholic Practice

The Common Application Form (CAF) required by the Local Authority, the Supplementary Admissions Form and the Certificate of Catholic Practice should be completed and received at the school no later than the national closing date for primary schools. If the Supplementary Admissions Form and the Certificate of Catholic Practice are not completed, the Governing Body of the school will only be able to consider the application after all applicants who have completed these forms. You are advised to make two copies of the forms - you should retain one copy and pass the second copy to the school.

In-Year Admissions

We welcome enquiries and applications for children wishing to join St John Fisher during the school year.

Whether you are moving into the area or seeking a new school place, we understand that changing schools is an important transition and aim to make the process as smooth and supportive as possible for both children and families.

Please submit this completed form, with a completed Supplementary Admissions FormCertificate of Catholic Practice, your child’s baptism certificate and proof of address to the Main Office so that your child can go on our waiting list.
